HEAVIEST fish recorded at Creedy Lakes fishery in Crediton last week was a common scaling 28lbs, tempted out by Tiverton angler Stephen Howe whilst fishing mid-way on the far bank.

This was his only catch of the day but a very pleasing one at that especially as he had not been fishing at the venue for more than a year.

Another great specimen of 24lbs 6oz was banked by Jarrod Kastner of Cheriton Fitzpaine. He was fishing with his mate Neil Sercombe who also had a good specimen scaling 20lbs 6oz.

Tedburn St Mary anglers Natasha Harrison and James both enjoyed a recent Creedy visit. Natasha banked a lovely 11lbs specimen common whilst James landed six fish ranging from 9lbs 4oz up to 18lbs in weight.

Crediton anglers Sid Rogers and Ashleigh Williams fished the first swim on the right bank and, using the house bait, they tempted out nine fish between them.

All their catches were commons ranging between 11lbs up to 18lbs in weight.
