Sandford School & Nursery is delighted to announce that from September it will be extending its nursery provision to welcome two-year-olds, alongside offering wraparound care from 7.45am to 5.45pm each day.

Having celebrated its 200th anniversary last year, Sandford School & Nursery continues to be at the heart of the local community. This small rural primary school serves the village and surrounding area, attracting families from beyond its catchment, including many from Crediton seeking a smaller village school environment.

Rated Good by Ofsted (Autumn 2023), the school offers children a nurturing and inspiring place to learn and grow. Its extensive grounds provide fantastic opportunities for outdoor learning, including an allotment and school chickens.

Pupils enjoy a rich curriculum with opportunities to learn musical instruments and perform in the class orchestra and school band, take part in a variety of sports and competitions, and enjoy a wide range of clubs and enrichment activities. Key Stage 2 pupils also benefit from residential visits.
