10am to 12 noon - Crediton Churches Coffee morning (and bric-a-brac stall) at the Boniface Centre. In aid of Hospiscare.

10am to 3pm - Coldridge Winter Charity Craft Fair. Village Hall stalls and refreshments. In aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association.

10.45am for 11am - Dedication at the Garden of Remembrance at Crediton Parish Church (main gate).

11am to 2.30pm - Sustainable Crediton Annual General Meeting at Crediton Congregational Church.

3pm - Special half-term show at Crediton Arts Centre with Scarlet Oak Theatre “The Zoo That Come To You” with magical puppets, live music and playful characters.

6.30pm - Scary Hallowe’en Disco, Spreyton Village Hall for Village Trust, prizes for best Halllowe’en fancy dress, children and adults.

6.30pm - Tedburn St Mary Annual Firework Spectacular at Tedburn St Mary Recreation Ground. Display commences at 8pm. Food, beverages, Punch and Judy and more.

7.30pm - Crediton ELF Fundraising Group charity race night at the Boniface Centre. Tickets £6 to include a Ploughman’s supper. Telephone Nick on 07971 694606.

8.30pm - Hallowe’en Show and live music by Audius Maximus at the Ship Hotel, Crediton (9.30pm show time with mysterious creatures).

Sunday 30

10pm to 2pm - Free microchiping at Jonathan Wood Vets, Barnstaple Cross, Crediton. Coffee, cake and chat with staff.

3pm - Upham Methodist Church Chapel Anniversary Concert led by David Down and Friends from Iddesleigh. Tea to follow.

Tuesday 1

7.15 for eyes down at 8pm - Cash Bingo at Spreyton Village Hall.

Friday 4

7.30pm - Tiverton and Mid Devon Astronomy Society (TAMDAS) talk on Zoom - “John Goodricke and Edward Piggot: The Fathers of Variable Star Astronomy” talk by Martin Lunn.

6pm - Bonfire and Firework Night at Winkleigh Sports Centre (bonfire at 6.30pm and firework display at 7.30pm). Barbecue, bar and disco.

Saturday 5

12 noon to 3pm - Soup and Puds lunch at Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall. In aid of Save the Children.

Friday 11

11am - Armistice Day two-minute silence at Crediton Town and Hamlets War Memorial, assemble from 10.45am.

6pm to 9pm - Christmas Fayre at the Boniface Centre, Crediton. Proceeds to Devon Air Ambulance.

7pm for 7.45pm - Sandford Meat Bingo at Sandford Parish Hall.

Saturday 12

9am to 2pm - Craft Fair at Crediton Congregational Church.

6.30pm for eyes down at 7.45pm - Redlands League of Friends, Crediton November Bingo at Sandford Cricket Club.

Sunday 13

10am - Remembrance Service at Crediton Parish Church. Followed by the Laying of Wreaths and Silence at the War Memorial at about 11am. Salute in Crediton Town Square immediately afterwards.

2pm - Whist Drive at Upton Pyne Village Hall. For hall funds.

Wednesday 16

10am to 12 noon - U3A Crediton and District talk by Brian Fernley “Jumping Jo Beyrle - The story of the first American Paratrooper in Occupied Europe” at the Boniface Centre. Entry £1.50 (includes refreshments).

Saturday 19

11am - Sandford Art, Craft and Gift Fair at Sandford Parish Hall.

7pm - Family fun “pig racing” evening at Spreyton Village Hall.

7.15pm - Crediton ELF Fundraising Group Quiz Night at the Boniface Centre, Crediton.

Saturday 25

10am to 2pm - St Nicholas Fair at the Boniface Centre, Crediton.

8pm - Peter Hamilton Memorial Ceilidh with Red Shed at Sandford Parish Hall. Tickets £8 from 01363 773260. Proceeds to Crediton Arts Centre.
