10am to 4pm -Quilters Exhibition in the Community Centre, Winkleigh (part of Winkleigh Fair Day).

From 12pm - Winkleigh Fair Day in the Square at Winkleigh with pram race (12pm), market stalls (1pm to 3pm). Live music (from 4pm). Family Disco (6pm to 8pm), bouncy castle, face painting, barbecue, pygmy goats and more.

2pm - Colebrooke amenity area boules fun afternoon. Boules provided (no charge). Tea/coffee and cake £2.

7pm for 7.30pm - Cheriton and Tedburn St Mary YFC Pizza and Prosecco Quiz night at Tedburn St Mary Village Hall.

10am to 12 noon - U3A presentation at the Boniface Centre, Crediton by Prof Peter Edwards entitled “Cataclysmic Italy”.

10.30am to 12 noon - Going for a Sing at the Boniface Centre, Crediton. Refreshments and song words provided.

2pm to 4pm - Crediton Town Band playing a variety of music on Crediton Town Square.

6pm to 12 midnight - Dartmoor Reggae Appreciation Society will present Gladdy Wax at the Jubilee Hall at Chagford.

Saturday, July 30

Until Sunday, September 11 - Sandford Scarecrow Trail with the theme “Monarchy Past and Present”. In aid of Sandford School. Maps (priced at £4) are available from Sandford Community Stores (during opening hours).

12 noon onwards - Family Fun Day at Chamberlains Farm, Brampford Speke (EX5 5DR).
