11.30am to 12.30pm - Baby Loss Awareness Week, remember a baby that has died by lighting a candle at Crediton Parish Church.

2pm to 4pm - Magnificent Minds - a group for Neurodiverse families at The Karis Hall, Crediton Congregational Church. Neurodiverse children of all ages welcome. A chance to meet and chat with other families.

6.30pm - A Traditional Village Harvest Supper, WI Hut, Thorverton. Tickets £7.50 per person available from Thorverton Post Office. Under 10’s free.

6.30pm for 7pm - Parish Harvest Supper at Sandford Parish Hall. Tickets £12 Adults and £6 for children (under 12). Proceeds to St Swithun’s Path Improvement Fund.

7.30pm - The Big Quiz Night at Crediton Congregational Church. Teams of six. Register at: [email protected] . In aid of Tearfund.

10am to 12 noon - Crediton and District U3A talk by Roger Brown: “The story of Tin Pan Alley” at the Boniface Centre, Crediton. Entry £1.50 (includes refreshments). Members and non-members welcome. 

Friday 20

7.45pm - Charity Concert at Exeter Corn Exchange featuring Mariner’s Away, Windjammers, Jim Causley and Elizabeth-Jane Baldry. Tickets £13 from 01392 665938. In aid of the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital Charities.

10am to 1pm - Bug hotel give away at the Community Hub in North Street, Crediton. Provide somewhere snug for the winter for those micro-beasts. Accompanied children especially welcome.

11.30am - Harvest Festival at the Holy Trinity Church, Yeoford followed by Harvest Lunch in the church.

10am to 12 noon (and 1pm to 3pm) -“Horrible History” Storytelling Workshop for Young People at Sampford Courtenay Village Hall. Led by Storyteller Michael Dacre. 6.30pm - (Firework display at 8pm) Tedburn St Mary Annual Fireworks Spectacular at Tedburn St Mary Recreation Ground. Adults £7, under 11s £3, under 5s free. This is a cash only event. In aid of the local community and local charities and good causes.
