4.15pm - Christmas Light Switch-On at Witheridge with a school lantern parade and children performing in The Square. Stalls open at 4.30pm. Santa’s Grotto, mince pies, mulled wine and barbecue available.
4pm to 8.30pm - Christmas Tree Festival at Nethercott House - Farms for City Children, Iddesleigh (near Winkleigh). Stalls, music food and drink.
6.45pm - Doors open for Christmas Bingo Night, Crediton Football Club, eyes down 7.30pm, in aid of Crediton and District Lions Local Charities.

9.30am to 12 noon - Welcoming Refugees in Crediton - clothing collection for refugees at Crediton Congregational Church.
10am to 1pm - Sustainable Crediton's Local Food event- "Crediton Cooks Local” at the Hub, Town Council offices, 8 North Street, Crediton.
10am to 2pm - Christmas Market at Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall.
10am - North Tawton Town Hall, Guides Christmas Coffee Morning, for Guide funds.
10am to 12.30pm - Repair Cafe, North Tawton Community Centre, Barton Street.
10am to 2pm - Festive Farmers’ Market and Big Breakfast at Spreyton Village Hall.

7.15pm - Doors open for Christmas Cash Bingo and excellent raffle, Spreyton Village Hall, eyes down 8pm.
7.30pm - Charity Christmas Concert in aid of FORCE, Nichols Nymet House, Exeter University Chapel Choir, with Andrew Millington (organ), readings by Carol Hughes, mulled wine, mince pies, raffle etc, tickets £20, book on 01837 82626.
Thursday 7
11am to 6pm - Crediton Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival (until Sunday). Refreshments in the Boniface Centre from 10am to 4.30pm each day (apart from Sunday - 2pm to 4.30pm). Art Exhibition in the Boniface Centre in conjunction with the Christmas Tree Festival. Paintings, prints and cards by members of Newton St Cyres Art Club (until Sunday 10 during the cafe opening hours). 7pm - Festival concert with Ad Hoc and Crediton Youth Orchestra in aid of Hospiscare. Cost £8 per person on the door, children free.
5pm - Procession of carol singers and lights from Yeoford School to The Duck. 6.30pm - Crediton Singers at Yeoford Festival of Light at The Duck. Prizes for best decorated house in and near Yeoford.
7pm for 7.30pm - Christmas Bingo at Crediton Rugby FC. Proceeds to Crediton Women’s XV team.
