DEVON County Youth Brass Band will return to Crediton for a workshop on January 27.

Principal trombone player, Dr L Brett Baker from Black Dyke Band, a championship brass band, will be attending to work with the young people, who will be attending from across the county.

Sarah Jones, secretary of the band said that the workshop has been made possible by funding from Devon music Education Hub, Crediton Lions, The Angela Gallagher Trust and private donations.

At the end of the day-long workshop, which will be held at the Boniface Centre, a short 15-minute recital/concert will be presented from 3.30pm to 3.45pm.
