RAPUNZEL, a wannabe punk, is trapped in a tower by her power-hungry captor, Dr Grimm.

Rapunzel longs to be free, but who will rescue her?

Can the dashing Prince Lee save “Rapunzel” or will he, like everyone else in the town, fall under the hypnotic power of Dr Grimm?

The Young Actors of North Tawton (YANTS) are proud to present the musical pantomime of Rapunzel in North Tawton Town Hall this February half-term.

Go along and prepare to be entertained by talented young actors, singers and dancers.

The story is crazy, and the characters are even more so.

Audience members won’t be able to resist singing along to some energetic songs racing from The Spice Girls to Sia, McFly, Katy Perry, Lady Ga Ga, Bruno Mars, and a whole lot more in between.

Show dates are Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21 at 7.30pm, doors open at 7pm.

On Saturday, February 22, the show is a matinee, doors open at 2pm for a 2.30pm performance.

Tickets are available to buy from North Tawton Post Office, adults £6.50, children up to the age of 12, £4.50 and at the door if there is room.

The incredible cast, all aged from 10 to 16, are students from local schools including North Tawton Primary School, Okehampton College and Chulmleigh Academy Trust.

YANTS is the junior section of the Actors of North Tawton Society (ANTS).

Sarah Ruby is director and Sadie Moden is musical director assisted by many volunteers and members of ANTS.
