EVERY year members of the knitting and sewing group, Yeoford Yarns, are set a challenge. This year it was to include a floral fabric for the sewing group or to knit something in red and green.

The knitting was won by Anne Maisey with a striped jumper with Violet Berry as runner-up with one of the hats she is knitting for the Lighthouse Seafarers Mission and the Sailors’ Society.

Sandy Hall’s wall hanging took first prize in the sewing group with Patricia Rowbottom’s decorated book cover being runner up.

Judge was Una Hobbs from Bow. Yeoford Yarns meet every other Tuesday in the Community Hall at Yeoford.
