MORE than 50 tickets were sold for a cheese and wine tasting evening held by Yeoford School PTA on Friday, March 4, raising £400 for the PTA with a pudding auction raising £400 for the Ukraine DEC Appeal.

The PTA was raising funds for a new shelter being built in the school playground.  Wine samples were provided by Bruce Evans of Grape and Grain on Crediton High Street with the artisan cheeses from Trethowan Brothers’ Dairy in Somerset.

Yeoford PTA would like to say a huge “thank you” to all who attended and to the following companies for their kind donations of crackers, chutney, grapes and desserts:  The Plant Shed, Copplestone, Oliver’s Bakery, Ashtons, The Exploding Bakery, Tesco Crediton and Waitrose in Exeter.
