ARRANGEMENTS for the World Day of Prayer in Crediton on Friday, March 5 will be a little different this year.

Sadly, because of lockdown, there will be no opportunity for everyone to get together in the St Boniface RC Church this year for the World Day of Prayer ecumenical service.

Fortunately, for those who have computer access, everyone is invited to join a Zoom Service at 2pm entitled: "Building a Strong Foundation - Vanuata" led by Crediton Methodist Church. Details of the Zoom meeting can be found on all of the Church websites.

Everyone who attends is asked to please have a pebble or stone with you for the service.

There will also be a link to an International Service which will be posted on the WDP website: www.wwdp.org.uk .

If anyone would like a Service booklet to use at home at 2pm on Friday, March 5, they will be available to pick up from Church offices.

WDP has suggested several ways to receive donations for its work.

By text: to donate £5 send TEXT2021WDP 5 to 70085. Any amount up to £40 can be donated this way - just alter the 5 after 2021 WDP to your chosen amount.

By cheque: payable to WDP and sent to WDP, Commercial Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN1 2RR

By online donation: www.wwdp.org.uk- minimum amount £10.
