A WOMAN stuck up to her waist in mud was rescued by firefighters near Colleton Home Farm, Witheridge Moor on Saturday, October 14.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident at 12.09pm.

Crews from Witheridge, Tiverton and South Molton attended.

Firefighters used a triple extension ladder and small tools.

The woman was unharmed in the incident.
