HERE we go again - "Have your say on how Crediton area develops in the future" (Courier, January 31).
Why bother, when each time people have answered, with objections. In the past the reply has always been the same - we are not interested in what you say; "we will do what we want."
With all the houses planned, Crediton will be gridlocked with traffic and the pollution will be over boiling point.
Again, people have passed remarks on my last letter. Someone asked me what sort of Devon County councillors do we have? My answer is "nothing".
Two people have given me cuttings from The Daily Mail on all illness that pollution causes.
The Daily Mail wants to know if anyone lives in a badly polluted area? I am writing to say "yes" we live in Exeter Road, Crediton and the pollution here sizzles.
More houses, but no mention of schools or doctors' surgeries. People are saying that you have to wait for an appointment; who are these houses for? That is the question people are asking.
One thing for sure, we who use Exeter Road won't be able to cross the road in safety. At the end of the day it comes down to money being made that is more important than people's health and safety.
No mention of sewers either.
