THE next fundraising event for Crediton Parish Church will be a wine tasting evening to be held on Saturday, October 19 at 7pm in the Boniface Centre.

Those attending will be able to sample eight different wines accompanied by appropriate nibbles and enjoy an explanation of each wine given by Mrs Barbara Todd. Tea, coffee and the chance to sample some Calvados will also be available.

The Parochial Church Council is very grateful to everyone for their support of the recent Book Fair and Jumble Sale which between them raised a much needed £1,400 towards the daily cost of running the Parish Church.
