TODAY, I left my house at about 10.45am and returned about 11.50am.

When I returned my kind neighbour was cleaning up dog pooh from outside my front door.

Someone, in broad daylight, had allowed their dog to foul the pavement.

In the summer the smell of dog urine permeates the house, but we get the mess on the pavement all year round.

Not only is this most unpleasant for the residents, but with so many children going up and down the pavement to school it does, in my opinion, pose a health risk.

Why are the owners so inconsiderate?
