ON Monday, July 1, yet again, a Mid Devon Coach and a very large lorry, which could have been "living quarters" for fair people, met on Exeter Road (outside my home).
I felt so sorry for the coach driver who was well over his side of the road. The lorry was far too large to pass the coach and the language from the lorry driver was dreadful!
Why is it when there is any hold up on our road it is outside my home?
Our footpath is used by cyclists and I gather one resident has been hit three times by people breaking the law.
Pavements are for pedestrians. We have enough problems with safety in Exeter Road, we don't need this.
What happens if I come out of my front door and knock someone over and they land up under a car? Who is responsible?
We have had workmen from Swimbridge working in our home and they passed remarks about the traffic and how dangerous it is and the speed.
Crediton must be on a different planet. Disgusting!
