HAVING heard that Exeter Road isn't dangerous enough to warrant a crossing, who are these people who are putting a price on people's lives?

If it isn't dangerous, why do people say how dangerous it is? We take our lives in our hands and hope we don't get hit.

When my windows are cleaned, the window cleaner fears for his safety. Even people from the council have been in my home and passed similar remarks.

We already live on a road designated to high and dangerous levels of pollution, putting our health at risk.

Several people have passed remarks to me about the size of and speed that tractors travel. Most are driving far too fast.

Cyclists using our footpath are a problem, too. If I come out of my front door and knock one of the cyclists in front of a car, I suppose I would be blamed.

It's quite clear - pedestrians don't have the right to cross the road in safety.

DCC is thinking about the money it would cost. They spend money on rubbish. When someone is knocked down and killed, will they be able to live with their conscience? No, of course not, Crediton does not count!

Who creates more traffic? Planners who give planning permission for all the extra housing. Councillors must have x-ray eyes if we don't warrant a measure of safety.
