THE Cheriton Fitzpaine Welcome Club AGM, held in the Methodist Hall, was well attended.

The Club, which provides hot meals twice a month to those who would otherwise be eating on their own, continues to be very successful.

A total of 725 meals were cooked and served by volunteers during 2019, and we now have 77 members.

Fortunately, they do not always attend every time, otherwise there would not be enough room!

Deniece Kingdon remains our Chairman, with Yvonne Clayton as Treasurer and Linda Tonkin as Secretary. The rest of the Committee remains unchanged, although former Chairman, Ann Jackson has now moved to Tiverton. Although she manages to come and help with the Club, she has resigned from the Committee.

The meeting concluded with refreshments and good fellowship.
