DANIEL Nganga, Youth Pastor at Crediton Congregational Church, took the February Sunday afternoon service at Sandford Congregational Church, where he received a warm welcome from the congregation.

Daniel introduced everyone to his wife, Jacqueline, who he married just seven months ago. Both come from Kenya and Daniel came to Crediton 18 months ago after working in Warrington for three years.

Previously he worked in Kenya as a college tutor and youth and community worker.

At Crediton Congregational Church Daniel runs the Youth Groups where a hub is held on Wednesday evenings for organised activity games. On Thursdays from 4pm to 5.30pm they feature the New Generation Music Band, which is very popular and on Friday evenings for 11-to-16 year-olds there is “Halo” for games and social time.
