THIS year’s Tedburn St Mary Annual Fair, which was held on Saturday, September 10, was again a huge success.

There was an exciting line up of entertainment in the main ring and on the Village Green which included Moretonhampstead Motorcycle Trials Display Team, a Donkey Derby and music from Tedburn Community Choir.

Live bands performed a selection of music to an appreciative audience and included "The Fab Beatles," "Marnie" and "La Vie En Rose."

Visitors enjoyed a range of attractions and activities including laser clays, archery, shire horse shoeing, vintage vehicle displays, tractor rides and slackline skittles.

A car boot sale was held and a bouncy castle was enjoyed by the children.

During the fair, visitors in the Village Square were able to sample and buy from local suppliers, visit craft traders and enjoy delicious teas which were served in the WI tent.

There were a large number of entries in the flower and produce competitions with a wide variety of classes - there was something for everyone.

A number of competitions for handicraft, cookery and floral displays attracted a good number of entries.

Visitors to the village farm were delighted by the display of furry and feathered friends. A good number of pooches were entered into the family dog show where there were a a selection of classes including the Waggiest Tail and the Best Child Handler.

The Tedburn Fair received support from Exeter Air Cadets, Cheriton & Tedburn YFC and Cheriton & Tedburn Scout group.
