THE photograph accompanying this letter shows the Avranches Orchestra with members of the Choir of Crediton’s Holy Cross Parish Church who performed in a concert in Crediton on May 27.

A very large audience attended the free entry event which was held in aid of FORCE whose committee members served refreshments during the interval.

A total of £457 was raised.

I would like to thank those who helped make the visit such a success and in particular I am so grateful to all the host families who helped.

Members of the Crediton Twinning Association, members of the Choir of Holy Cross and others who offered to help made our guests so welcome and ensured that they were at the right place at the right time.
