THERE was a sight to see in Crediton’s Town Square on Thursday, September 21 with many vintage vehicles parked for a few hours.

The cars came to the town from across the county, one from Plymouth and another from Exeter as well as cars locally.

The visit was arranged by local car owner David Nation and the visit was by members of “The Cranks”, an offshoot group of the Crash Box and Classic Car Club of Devon, which meets monthly.

Following coffee the car owners visited the Great Fire of Crediton exhibition at Crediton Museum, where Tony Gale gave them a rundown on the research.

Permission for the vehicles to park on the Town Square was approved by Mid Devon District Council and Crediton Town Council.
