Why not have a town crier – have we ever had one? It would be great to have a town crier in Crediton. It would add to the joy of life!
John Skrine, Crediton
Personally, I don't like the idea. If there was a town crier in the town square I wouldn't listen.

When would a town crier perform? Would it be a voluntary post? It might add a bit of colour to the town.

I think it would be a good idea to have a town crier – it would be fun and add some flavour to the town. The town needs something. It would be interesting to see if the town crier was male or female.
