THE stories appeared in the Courier over a number of issues throughout November and December and covered festive events in the town.

Many events were held in the run-up to Christmas and people were asked what they thought of them including the Switch-On Parade, the Christmas Tree Festival, the Christmas Farmers Market, Fair in the Square, Crediton Christmas Gift Market and two Late Night Shopping events.

The feed-back was very positive and most people felt that festive events leading up to Christmas had been very successful and had created a wonderful festive atmosphere in the town.

What you told us ..........

The festivities have been good, especially the Switch-on Parade. We didn't know about the second late night shopping evening, even though we live in the town - perhaps it could have been advertised a bit more. The town looks very pretty with all the Christmas lights.

Unfortunately I missed the parade. The town looks beautiful and the shops look lovely.

This year, looking through the town, it all looks lovely. I didn't go to the Switch-On Parade but the feed-back I've had has been very good. They have excelled themselves this year. The Saturday Farmers' Market was very good.

The High Street looks very pretty and the Parish Church looks wonderful! We missed the Switch-On Parade as we were away. The Saturday Farmers' Christmas Market was very good and the music created a good atmosphere – the group was very good. There's been lots on and its been nice.
