COULD you spare a small amount of your time to make a real difference to vulnerable people living in Mid Devon?

Involve Mid Devon's new volunteer "Buddying" Scheme is an exciting project which aims to help vulnerable people in Mid Devon to build up their confidence and self-esteem, enabling them to overcome feelings of isolation and nurture their ability to play a more active role within the community.

By committing to only a few hours a week to help someone take part in activities, such as gardening/conservation, retail, catering and office administration, a volunteer will make a huge difference to the life of a vulnerable person.

The project offers volunteers an opportunity to gain valuable training and to learn key transferrable skills for their CV.

All costs during placements will be reimbursed by Involve, Mid Devon Voluntary Services.
