Located safe and well:

Ian Holtby, 52, from Crediton, who was reported missing on Monday, March 2, has been found safe and well, police said this morning, Wednesday, March 4.

The police added that they would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

DEVON and Cornwall Police are growing concerned for the welfare of a 52-year-old man from Crediton.

Ian Holtby was last seen yesterday afternoon at around 1pm and was reported missing earlier this morning.

Enquires so far suggest that Ian was in the Crediton town area at around 10am today.

He is believed to be travelling on foot and is known to visit areas including Bude, Exmouth, Exeter and Dartmoor.

Police are continuing to carry out enquiries in efforts to locate Ian.

The force helicopter and local officers on the ground have been searching the town around lunchtime today.

Anyone who sees Ian and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 999, quoting log 263 2/3/20.
