ROWAN Crossman a member of Queens Badminton Club, Crediton was in outstanding form at the Four Nations Disability Championships held in Glasgow.
Rowan dominated the Men's Wheelchair badminton singles competition, defeating all his opponents in straight sets, claiming victory over his doubles partner, David Follet 21-13 21-9 in the final.
However, Rowan's domination continued into the doubles event, where he and David comfortably reached the final before overcoming the tough pairing of Owen Kilburn and Gobi Ranganathan 14-21 21-16 14-21 to again take. Helen Ward,
Head Coach at Queens Badminton Club told the Courier: "This is a fantastic achievement for Rowan, who not only deserves the two gold medals but is also a fantastic role model for other children within our club and for disability badminton in general."
Both Rowan and David also play at Devon Racqueteers badminton club, which specialise in disability badminton.
