CREDITON Youth Football Club ran its annual six-a-side football tournament on June 12 and 13.
The tournament was well attended with 133 teams and 1,000 players taking part over the two days.
Teams came from as far as Gloucestershire and Plymouth to take part in the tournament, which was held at Lords Meadows, Crediton.
The under 7's and 8's teams played a friendly competition with medals given to all the players.
All other age groups played in a league before playing in knockout rounds and a final.
The winners and runners were presented with trophies.
Crediton Devils Girls Under 13's team, managed by Ian Salter, won their final 1-0 against Twyford A.
Crediton Whites under 15's, managed by John Harkness, won their final with LFC Sparta 2-0, with both goals coming from Sophie-Lou Simpson.
Other winners were: U9's Exmouth Amateurs, U10's Stoke Hill Celtic, U11's Sidmouth Raiders, U12's Stoke Hill Spurs, U14's Westexe Blues, U15's Tiverton Town Chelsea, U16's Tiverton Town Arsenal.
Head referee, James Uren, had 24 referees at his disposal to see fair play on the 12 pitches.
Thanks were extended to Nicky Smith, Lyn Cartlidge and dedicated helpers who provided food, as well as parents who sold sweets and drinks with boys from the Crediton Under 15's, who were raising money for their tour to Slovenia next year.
Paramedic Martin Graham of Medical Events and Training Services took care of any injuries over the two days.
The tournament was the last official fixture for the Crediton Under 16's team managed by Tom Wheeler-Osman, who have come to the end of their time with the club.
Player Dan Uren expressed his thanks to former manager, Adrian Cartlidge, who had coached the team for seven years.
Crediton Youth Football Club AGM will be held at Crediton Football Club on Tuesday, July 30 at 7.30pm.
