CREDITON traders are getting fed-up with the lack of police presence in the town in the early hours of the morning when there have been a number of break-ins and attempted break-ins.
To me, the Council Offices should be kept open and used for a police station again and could also house the services that are currently there such as Town Council and Citizens Advice.
What would it cost to have a couple of police officers patrolling the High Street and Town Square at night?
We pay enough for these services.
The Crediton area has become much larger with all the new houses that have been built, yet there doesn’t seem to be any police coverage. We’re not getting the services that we pay for.
Something needs to be done now to prevent any further break-ins.
