THE Age Concern shop on Crediton High Street is now under new management with the appointment of Tracy Mcilwaine.

Tracy has about 25 years of charity retail experience, having started in a Sue Rider shop in Cheltenham and going on to work in various charity shops.

Tracy said: “Moving to Devon from Cheltenham 12 years ago was the best decision.

“I’m now working with a great team of people at Age Concern and I’m very grateful to them for making me feel so welcome.”

Tracy has lots of plans for the shop including holding end-of-line and end-of-season sales, which will probably be held at the Lady Mills Centre in Deep Lane on a Saturday.

Look out for some amazing window displays at the shop, particularly for special occasions such as Mother’s Day.

Staff will be happy to help with customers requirements, so if you are looking for a specific item, ask and if it comes in they will keep it back for you.

The shop currently needs more donations of quality bric-a-brac, clothing in larger sizes for both men and women, and more volunteers.
