A TOTAL of 33 businesses in the High Street and Market Square have generously offered space in their windows to showcase the different artists in the EX17 area as a part of the second Artists Town Trail to be hosted by Crediton Arts Centre, which will run from Saturday, June 30 to Sunday, July 8.

Last year this was a great success, very much enjoyed by the public, the shopkeepers and the artists.

It offers a great opportunity to wonder around Crediton and look in all the shop windows to appreciate the wealth of talent the area has.

To coincide and to compliment The Artists Town Trail, for the first time, a Crediton Open Studios event will run from Friday, July 6 to Sunday, July 8.

The Crediton Artists will be opening their studios or exhibiting their work in locations throughout the weekend in and around the Crediton area.

A full colour brochure which incorporates a map of all the locations of the Open Studios and the shop windows for The Town Trail, along with all the artists details has been produced. This is available to pick up around Crediton and at art establishments in Devon.

The organisers, Tim Salter, Rebecca Holley and Paul Cartwright, who will also be showing their artwork, would like to thank all the establishments, Crediton Arts Centre sponsors, the artists taking part and Alan Murray for his work on producing the brochure.
