CHRISTIANS Together in Crediton held a Picnic in the Park in Newcombes Meadow after the morning services held in the town on Sunday, May 24.

It was held to celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

Following the picnic, Crediton Town Band played from 2pm and for a Celebration of Shared Worship.

The worship was led by Crediton Rector, Rev Matthew Tregenza and Assistant Curate, Rev Sandra Collier, the service put together by Sarah Preece.

The Band played for the hymns and everyone enjoyed singing along.

With the weather so hot, many took to shelter in the Jubilee Gardens for their picnics and for the service.

Representatives from all of the churches in Crediton took part.
