WILLIAM Escott from the First Bow Beaver Scouts has received his Chief Scouts Bronze Award from George Davey, Mid Devon Scouts Assistant District Commissioner.

This is the highest award which can be gained by Beaver Scouts.

Rebecca Shadbolt, a Beaver Scout Leader at First Bow Scout Group, said: “In order to attain it, Beaver Scouts must have completed six Challenge Awards by the time they join Cub Scouts.

“It is a difficult badge to earn, and to do so they must complete a number of challenges – including learning about the world, teamwork, and adventure.”
