THE Toddler Play Area at Newcombes Meadow in Crediton is currently closed to enable maintenance work to take place.

Mid Devon District Council contractors began work this morning, Monday, October 17, to replace the rubber safe surfacing in the area.

The play area is expected to re-open after October 21.
