THE "Tiverton Balloon Festival 2012" and Crediton Courier have teamed up to offer one lucky reader a family ticket to this year's aerial extravaganza.

To be held from August 24 to August 27 at the combined Tiverton High School and Petroc Campus, the winning entry will receive a family ticket (for two adults and two children aged seven to 16 years) and premier car park pass valid for the duration of the event. 

This year's festival highlights include hot air balloon ascents and "Night Glows", vintage aircraft and flying displays, kite flying, performing arts, live music throughout the weekend and catering from Taste of the West.

There will be plenty to keep the children entertained too, with a kids' zone, a visit from Exmoor Zoo, face painting, Diggerland's "Sky Shuttle", a learning dome (planetarium) and lots more...!

Tickets for a four day ticket costs £8 (pre-paid); family tickets £26 (pre-paid), one day ticket £8 (on the day); children under seven go free.
