A NEW interactive trail exploring Crediton is being launched by The Turning Tides Project on Friday, October 22.
This free, inclusive event is open to everyone and will take place at the Crediton Station Tea Rooms. The event will start at 11am with a live music performance from The Turning Tides Band.
There will be a guided tour around the trail leaving from the Tea Rooms at 12 noon and 1.30pm. The Tea Rooms will be serving delicious food and showcasing a selection of videos linked to the trail throughout the day.
The Crediton Trail Project was created in partnership with the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership to encourage people to discover Crediton’s hidden treasures.
The trail includes a series of videos filmed at each stop along the trail, hosted by a charming Saxon character who gives out information and a task to complete.
Each task is related to the stop and encourages people to engage in creative activity. Everything was created #Inclusively by a team of people with and without “learning disability” or “autism” labels.
Maps will be available from the Tea Rooms and the videos are live on The Turning Tides YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4DzdKNQAKSom3dLyXjVfhtiay_lc666g .
