A VERY successful Open Day was recently held at Hillbrow Residential Care Home in Crediton.

The sun shone (mostly), lots of friends, families and other members of the community came along and enjoyed a fun filled afternoon with delicious cream teas from Oliver’s Bakery in Crediton, a few jugs of Pimms, garden games and guessing who’s who from the “younger years” photo board. Guests were entertained by live music from singing duo, “Sounds Easy”, who got people singing along and dancing!

This year Hillbrow wanted to raise money for two charities that are very important to two of their residents and their families, Hospiscare and a Cystic Fibrosis charity.

The Open Day raised £150 which was divided between both charities, Hillbrow wish to thank all who donated.
