CHILDREN and adults laid out their blankets in the garden at Pippins Pre-School, Crediton and sat down to enjoy a Teddy Bear's Picnic.

A cake stall sold a selection of home made cakes during the picnic and a big pink teddy bear cake, made by Yvonne Jones, was auctioned.

The Teddy Bear's Picnic raised £139.50, which will be used to buy a new water spiral tray and Kim-Buni construction toys.
