AFTER last year’s trip to medieval England for “Sleeping Beauty”, Tedburn Amateur Dramatic Society proudly presents this month, “Aladdin” written by Ben Crocker, directed by Charles Pallot and Debbie Garrish and produced by Linda Bellshaw.

The audience will be taken to the mysterious Orient with performances from Thursday, January 19 to Saturday, January 21 at 7.30pm and with a 2.30pm matinee, also on January 21.

The story is full of excitement and sparkle as a young man seeks his fortune and true love, but has to deal on the way with a wicked Uncle, a bonkers mother, fierce policemen and genies with attitude, let alone a teenage panda and a camel who has lost his way.

TADS promise a colourful show with songs nearly everyone will know.

There will be lively and energetic dancing and audiences are invited to boo and hiss at the terrible Mr Banana!

Performances will be staged in Tedburn St Mary Village Hall and there will be a licensed bar operating.

Tickets, priced at £6 adults, £3 children (under 12), are available from Becky in the Box Office on 01647 61335 or email: [email protected] .

Profits will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society, which is leading the fight against dementia, and other local groups.
