SUNDAY, April 16 saw the annual Tractor Run head off from Thorne’s Farm Shop, travelling around the Devon lanes and green lanes covering 40 miles.

The entrants finished back at the shop for a well earned pie and veg meal (the pies were kindly donated by Farmhouse Pies and Pasties from Silverton). The tractor run raised £300 that day.

Team Thorne’s first annual skittles evening in March was well attended with eight teams of four playing at The Half Moon in Cheriton Fitzpaine.

The winners were a team called “Swing Your Pants “. A great night of fun and laughter was had by all and Team Thorne’s raised £405 for Hospiscare, which provides specialist care to patients and their families living with life-limiting illnesses across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.
