AFTER hearing that Chiddenbrook Surgery League of Friends were fundraising for the purchase of three paediatric oximeters, Bert and Margaret Jewell kindly offered the use of their home and garden in Crediton, for a Tea in the Garden/Plant Sale.

Several potted plants were donated by the late Joan Tolley. The event, held on August 31, raised £550.

Prizes for the draw were donated by, Wetherspoons, Morrisons, Cox’s butchers and friends of Chiddenbrook surgery
