WINKLEIGH Parish Council, with support from Winkleigh Fair, has organised a bring and share tea party on Saturday, April 23, to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The event will run at the village hall from 3pm to 5.30pm and all local residents are invited to go along and take savoury and sweet food to share.

Drinks will be provided but the council would like to know approximate numbers of people wishing to attend. Please email: [email protected] if you intend to go along.

For the children entertainment will be provided by Marvellous Event-ures who will run a Teddy Bears Picnic - take your teddy along and meet their real-life teddy bear!

There will also be a best home-made crown/shield competition and a colouring corner.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
