SUSTAINABLE Crediton will be holding its Forum for the Future and AGM at Crediton Congregational Church on Saturday, October 29.

John Craythorne, on behalf of Sustainable Crediton, said that the event will be “a coming together for all our members and like-minded folks to plan our future direction”.

He continued: “We have had a very positive year as we have bounced back from you-know-what: but in this rapidly changing world we don’t want to spend a lot of time looking back: rather focus on how you want Sustainable Crediton to go forward over the next 12 months or so.

“We will not spend a lot of time talking at you. There will instead be plenty of opportunity for you to share your thoughts on how you would like Sustainable Crediton to develop in the future which we will do our best to reflect in our activities in the coming year.

“The Annual General Meeting will not be a formality: we both need and want to renew the leadership of Sustainable Crediton.

“This is a ‘must’ if we are to have a dynamic and impactful future in Crediton and local area. More about this on the day.

“We will start at 11am, have a break for lunch (free refreshments provided, donations towards costs welcome), and finish by 2.30pm at the very latest.

“We aim to make the day informative, sociable and enjoyable. We look forward to seeing supporters old and new. Do come!”
