FOLLOWING last year’s well-received Swifts talk with Edward Jackson, Sustainable Crediton is delighted to welcome national expert Edward Mayer of Swift Conservation, to share his experiences helping to reverse declines in urban biodiversity.
Working from the ground upwards, he’ll explain how consideration for soils, plants and invertebrate life are all essential to success.
His focus will be on how best to create the optimum conditions for birds such as Swifts, Swallows and House Martins to thrive.
However, as he says: “If it’s right for Swifts, it’ll be right for many other species as well”.
Join Edward Meyer at 7pm for 7.30pm on Thursday, May 8 at Crediton Congregational Church for his fully illustrated and inspiring talk. Free admission: refreshments available.
