THE Saint Boniface Concert Society is delighted to present a concert of superb chamber music by the Kammerphilharmonie Europa in Crediton Parish Church on Thursday, July 20.

Kammerphilharmonie Europa, which is returning to Crediton after its memorable and hugely popular performances in 2015 and 2017, will be offering an evening of delight.

The programme, from 7.30pm, will include works by Corelli, Neruda, J.S. Bach, Elgar, Rachmaninoff and Mozart – notably the much-loved “Trumpet Concerto” by Neruda, and Bach’s exquisitely beautiful “Double Violin Concerto in D minor (BWV1043)”.

This concert is kindly supported by the Exeter and District Classical Music Trust.

The orchestra is made up of some of the most talented young musicians from across Europe, who tour and perform around the world with award-winning soloists Pawel Zuzanski (violin) and Cyrill Gussaroff (trumpet).

It was founded in 2006 by Leonid Tritus, and has continued to build on a broad range of professional experience to promote the interests of promising young artists, with a repertoire ranging from Baroque to modern.

The Kammerphilharmonie Europa is in high demand and has recently performed at top venues across Europe including Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland, as well as in the Conway Hall, London and the Civic Theatre, Dublin.

According to the on-line music magazine “Bachtrack”: “The instrumentalists exude energy, excitement, colour and virtuosic flair in their playing”.

Crediton Parish Church provides free parking and disabled access. Drinks will be on offer during the interval.

Tickets are available from A E Lee Outfitters, High Street, Crediton, online from: www.ticketsource.co.uk , or on the door, subject to availability.

The cost is £15 per concert, FREE to full time students under 30.

This concert follows hot on the heels of the Society’s two excellent June concerts, featuring the cellist Hugh Mackay and the oboist Hannah Condliffe, and its May concert with the violinist Eleanor Corr.

These three concerts were remarkable for the virtuosity and musicianship of the soloists, and the perfect partnership between them and their accompanists, who were also prize-winning international artists of equal standing.

The Saint Boniface Concert Society is a local charity devoted to bringing top flight musicians to Crediton at affordable prices.
