SUNFLOWER Day Nursery and Pre-School, at 82 High Street, Crediton, has been celebrating the completion of its outside area, which has been beautifully decorated by artist, Julie Pearsall.

Colourful with lots of images, there is a seaside theme, complete with deckchairs, seagulls, sandcastles and ice creams.

The next development project at the nursery is the children's toilets and these should be completed before Christmas.

The nursery also has a new room leader in the baby unit.

Sunflower Day Nursery is the only setting in the area taking babies up to two years of age.

It has spacious accommodation and can take up to 73 children at any one time.

The trained staff offer a modern curriculum for all ages based on the new Early Years Foundation Stage, which came into operation in September 2008.

Sunflower Day Nursery is able to accommodate parents who need to change times and days and it received very good results in its last Ofsted report.
