CREDITON Children’s Centre has been enjoying a great summer and is looking forward to its September programme.

Crediton families have been enjoying activities throughout the school holidays at Action for Children’s Crediton Area Children’s Centre.

Georgina Marks, centre lead for Crediton Area Children’s Centre said:  “It’s been a great summer of fun with Messy Play at the Fire Station proving as popular as ever, with sticky footprints and smiles all round.

“Hatchlings, our group for babies, goes from strength-to-strength and ran every other week.

“We’d also like to say a big ‘thank you’ to Whitestone and Spreyton toddler groups for a lovely morning in the park; bug hunts, parachute fun and ball games were all hugely enjoyed!”

The September programme starts this week, and everyone is invited to view Mid Devon Children’s Centres “Facebook” page, or telephone 01363 777219 if they would like the programme sent by email.

Georgina added: “Old favourites, such as Mini Music and Firetots, remain on a Wednesday morning and we have a new group, Bookstart Bears, on a Tuesday morning that is aimed at children aged 18 months to four years.

“This active and fun group will help develop their communication skills.

“As ever, we’re out and about in the community at baby clinics, in toddler groups or our pop-up parks so please come and say hello when you see us.”
