TEAM Absolute is a group of 15-16 years olds who are part of the National Citizens Service (NCS) and have planned a social action project to contribute towards the community.
As part of the project the team has decided to raise money for people with disabilities and help and to help raise awareness of issues affecting disabled people.
The students from Queen Elizabeth’s Academy are: Anita mills, Zoe Hill, Sophie Pearn, Hannah Mills and Dora Varga. They are joined by other students from Exeter: Alice Wright, Beth Williamson, Cameron Berry, Cameron Thomas, Chelsea Collins, Emily Day, Jack McCarthy, Jacob Travill, Josh Dewberry, Josie Culliford, Katey Johnson, Molly Smith and Tilly Stead.
Some of their fundraising efforts intend to do are to wear fancy dress and go on a donation collection drive in Exeter, hold a cake sale and the boys have bravely volunteered to do a sponsored leg waxing.
As well as these activities they are hoping to work with disabled people and entertain them with such things as story-telling, pamper sessions and games.
All funds raised will be donated to a worthwhile charity supporting their cause.
Anita Mills from Crediton said, “We would love for as many people to support and donate towards our project.”
