THE Boys from Barcelona are back for one of the area’s best music festivals, Lapstock, which takes place at Lapford each year.

This band, with the amazing name of “StOp, sToP” has the “Wow” factor and turned heads as they toured Britain last year.

Returning by popular demand, this three-piece band will transport you back to good times when metal was glam, the hair was big and guys wore make-up and didn’t give a monkeys what anyone thought coz they rocked.

Lapstock starts on Friday, July 24 at 6pm and rolls through the weekend at The Mill, Lapford.

The programme of 23 live bands, on two stages, kicks off the first “school out” weekend of the summer holidays.

Friday is a showcase of young musicians and the best part is that it’s FREE: just turn up.

The main event on Saturday is by ticket only. Tickets can be bought online or at the gate.

For those who don’t like camping there is even a late night bus for Crediton, Copplestone, Bow and North Tawton.
