ABOUT 80 guests recently attended a charity Afternoon Tea at the Boniface Centre in Crediton, hosted by Steph Archer of Steph Heard Fitness, a local personal fitness instructor and nutritional advisor.

The charity event raised £530 for the Devon Air Ambulance (DAA).

Steph said: "I wanted to do something special for Christmas this year and to mark 10 years in business I decided to raise funds for DAA with an afternoon tea and a raffle.

"Guests enjoyed scones with cream and jam and a variety of delicious cakes.

"I had lots of help from my mum who helped made the cakes, and from a group of kitchen helpers.

"We were entertained by Jeff Sparling who played the piano.

"Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event."
